HEPA4ALL - TRANSCEND ENDORSED CPD EVENTS
Transcend is dedicated to UN Sustainable Development Goals. In support of this we are delighted to be selected by “HEPA4ALL” as their associate and awarding organsiation.
“HEPA4ALL” is a project designed to engage and encourage disabled and disadvantaged people to participate in inclusive Health Enhancing Physical Activities [HEPA].
The intent is to use HEPA as a method to support social inclusion across 7 domains:
At School / At Work / At Home / In Sport / In Nature / In Travel / With Family.
HEPA4ALL are offering CPD events in England and Ireland to increase awareness!
These events will benefit anyone who aspires to understand Health Enhancing Physical Activity [HEPA] and develop INCLUSIVE practice.
These events will add value to sport, physical activity, fitness, education and health professionals in their daily practice. The event activities are also relevant to students, parents and carers. Literally any person who wishes to be an advocate for social change is encouraged to attend. Attendees will:
- Develop professional skills: Embrace this interactive experience to learn the inclusive practice skills required to advocate Health Enhancing Physical Activities to anyone!
- Network with purpose: Connect with fellow pioneers. Collaborate on shared beliefs to promote a culture of inclusion across the physical activity eco system.
- Drive social change: Add your voice to the cause. The feedback gathered at this event will be used to shape national policy and influence social change strategies.
- Be recognised for advocacy: Engage in the activities to achieve the HEPA4ALL Advocacy Award.
This is high-value CPD which leads to an endorsed certificate which is awarded by Transcend Awards.
These events are a catalyst for change for an inclusive and healthy society.
